Jessica and Steven’s engagement session was just plain fun. From the second we started shooting, they were laughing, joking, and totally just being themselves—which is the best kind of energy to be around. Nothing felt forced, and every photo felt like a little snapshot of who they are together: goofy, sweet, and so clearly in love.

We kicked off the session with a little walk to the cutest cabin tucked away in the trees. It felt like stepping into a cozy rom-com moment—just the two of them, hand in hand, soaking it all in. Right from the start, they were all smiles and totally in their element, which set the tone for the rest of the shoot.

The photos at the cabin? Some of my absolute faves. The whole vibe was effortlessly romantic—snuggled up on the steps, leaning into each other, laughing at inside jokes. It felt like a quiet little escape just for them. The mix of woodsy charm and their natural chemistry was pure magic, and every frame from that spot just worked.

Of course we had to grab a few dreamy ring shots—because that sparkle against the fresh snow? Unreal. The light was golden, the snow added the prettiest glow, and the whole vibe was soft, romantic, and totally swoon-worthy. A little icy magic for an already perfect session.

One of my favorite stops during the session was this adorable little lighthouse. It added such a fun pop to the snowy backdrop, and Jessica + Steven brought all the cozy, playful energy. It honestly felt like a scene from a winter romance movie.

After the bridge, we wandered down a snowy path that looked like something out of a winter postcard. The trees were dusted in white, the light was soft, and Jessica + Steven were just fully in their element—laughing, stealing little kisses, and leaving the cutest footprints behind. It was peaceful, playful, and so them.

When we came across the stone arch, I knew we had to stop. It added such a fun, unexpected twist to the wintery backdrop—and Jessica + Steven totally made it their moment. They cozied up beneath it, laughing and just being their sweet, silly selves. It gave the photos such a cool mix of texture and romance, and I’m obsessed with how they turned out.

The bridge gave us such a cool little change of scenery, and Jessica + Steven made it magic. Between the snowy path, the open view, and those sweet in-between moments as they walked hand in hand, it all just felt so effortless. The way they laughed and leaned into each other? Pure gold.

Jessica + Steven climbed, leaned, and laughed their way through the shots, and it was the perfect playful ending to such a dreamy session. It was weird, wonderful, and totally them—honestly, a vibe.
